In a world crammed with the hustle and bustle of production and politics- there are mamas.
Nestled into little houses, our work isn’t done on a stage or for applause. It’s done during the quiet of middle of the night feedings and the chaos of toddler meltdowns.
We wipe, soothe, nurse, bounce, change, sing, bathe, and care for the needs of the little ones we love to the end of the Earth.
It can be thankless, exhausting, soul sucking work. But it does have meaning. And the purpose behind parenthood is where I want to focus this account.
I hope you can relate and find words to make you laugh or cry or say, “me too”. But mostly I hope that at the end of the day you’re reminded that these moments of mamahood are meaningful
