Welcome to our circus.

I didn’t know how I would handle another baby. Our house feels like a circus most days and I’m somehow the ring master, lion tamer and the clown. 🤡

Then we met you, my sweet little guy. You came into this world in a hurry but you haven’t felt rushed ever since. Everyone who meets you comments on your calm and gentle spirit. You are literally the quietest and most peaceful thing in our home, you’re only upset if you’re hungry and even that involves more lip smacking than wailing. You’re awake and aware and so chill it feels unreal.

I’m glad I didn’t let my fear of 2 under 2 keep me from meeting you. You are the blessing we didn’t know we needed.. the tranquility in the chaos we’re all trying to keep up with. My little oasis I get to snuggle as we cheer on our favorite toddler acrobat/trapeze artist/human firecracker.

It’s funny, cause now I don’t know how I would handle this life without you now. 💙
